About Us

Our family is very proud to own and operate Empire Doors, Windows, Hardware and More since 2004, when Mariano and his wife Olga started business in Phoenix, Arizona. They began the business when their kids were very small and often brought their children into the office to help out with small tasks like organizing brochures, sweeping the shop out back or dusting off displays in the showroom. It was always a family effort, especially over the weekends or summers when there were no classes or homework for the kids. As the family business grew, word spread quickly about the quality of Empire’s installs, products and friendly staff, it was evident that the hard work was paying off.

It was important for Mariano to teach his family about his business, similar to how his dad taught him. At the age of 11, Mariano would visit his father’s carpentry shop after school in El Paso, Texas to help sweep the floors and sand cabinets. He knew he loved working at the shop, dreaming that one day he’d be a carpenter himself. Time passed and he began installing baseboards at the age of 13 with hand driven nails and a good ol’ hammer, surpassing the work of some of his father’s more experienced employees. From ages 13 to 18, he worked alongside his dad and uncles who trusted in him to install doors, windows, hardware and more. He mastered the trade and proudly upheld his family name.

Years passed and it wasn’t until 1995 when Mariano and his family moved to Arizona. Initially, Mariano managed projects for several big companies and it wasn’t until December 2004 that he decided to start his own company, Empire Doors, Windows, Hardware & More. Mariano and Olga have ran this business with honesty and integrity, principles that we are proud to know are still put into every project we work on.

Today, Empire sells and installs high-quality products including energy efficient windows, interior and exterior doors, patio doors, moulding, residential hardware and commercial frames, doors and hardware.
